Just wanted to share a ride with you!

A Saturday ride to remember!

Last Saturday’s ride was awesome! Just a couple of weeks ago we picked up my 2009
Harley FLTRI up from Zippers Performance in Baltimore Maryland after they performed a whole bunch of work and a lot of upgrades!

Custom powder-coated lever
Custom powder-coated primary and shifter

Back to the ride, we live just over the Potomac River from a breathtaking section of Virginia. We took off across the bridge and the water was a bit churned up from the higher than normal winds but the view is always spectacular from the top of the Harry Nice Bridge. The day was very warm at 82 degrees and the bike was handling and running great. Life is so fun with your lady on the back of a big loud Harley cruising down the road at speed!
We made 225 miles that afternoon and visited friends at a resort and had an awesome meal at a local restaurant in Urbanna, Virginia.

I sure am glad we rode that day, it’s been cold, windy, and rainy since then and I just keep dreaming of the next ride!
Have you had a great ride lately?? Please tell me about it below!
Ride On! Todd

  1. Hello,
I love to ride as well, but mine is a 1986 Yahama Virago. I haven’t been on it since last summer. I can’t wait.
We live in North Carolina and love to ride the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Looks like y’all had an awesome time! Thanks for sharing! I look forward to hearing about more great trips.
